What is the Atkinson Foundation?
The Atkinson Foundation is a charity based in Elloughton-cum-Brough, East Yorkshire. The foundation was established in the 1930s to manage land bequeathed by Sir Arthur Atkinson. Income generated from rent is held in trust and used to promote the improvement or welfare of inhabitants and parishioners. The board of trustees periodically invites grant applications from local residents and voluntary groups to support personal development and projects that provide a benefit for the community.
Grant Application
The 2025/26 grant application period opens on 1st October 2025 and closes on 31st January 2026. Successful applicants will be notified in Spring 2026.
