Contact forms

If you apply for a grant using the application form on our website, any information you provide will be held by the Atkinson Foundation and may be evaluated by the trustees when considering your application.

Cookies

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

If your grant application is successful and unless you have specifically requested otherwise, we may share your data with news and media outlets for the purpose of promoting the aims of the Atkinson Foundation. Any data we do share will be limited to your name, the name of your organisation and general information about the project that we funded.

We do not share your personal contact information or financial information about you or your organisation with any third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you submit a grant application via our website, your information may be held on our web server for up to twelve months after the closing date at the time your application was made.

Data you submit as part of a grant application may also be held offline in digital and hard copy format. This data may be kept as part of the historical record and legacy of the Atkinson Foundation.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have submitted a grant application and do not wish for your details to be retained as part of the legacy of the Atkinson Foundation then you may request in writing that your information is not retained for longer than twelve months after the closing date at the time your application was made.

If you would prefer that your name, organisation name and project details are not shared with news and media outlets then you may specify this preference at the time of your application.

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
